1)      Introduction to toxicology. Various aims of toxicological examination

2)      Fate of xenobiotics in organism, disposition, biotransformation, elimination. Detection windows in different samples

3)      Fundamentals of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics

4)      Biotransformation of xenobiotics. Significant examples.

5)      Frequent toxic substances in cases of poisoning

6)      Laboratory diagnostics. Systematic toxicological analysis for unknowns. Targeted analyses. Immunochemical screening.

7)      Various extraction principles for unknowns or specified analytes. Sample preparation.

8)      Gas chromatography of volatiles and extractive substances.

9)      Mass spectrometry. Molecular fragmentation. Case reports examples.

10)  Liquid chromatography in toxicology

11)  Development, optimalization and validation of toxicological methods. Uncertainties in toxicology.

12)  Drug abuse. Drug effects. Cases of overdose

13)  Alternative matrices and their significance in toxicology
